Green laver harvested in Amakusa is dried with cold air to lock in its vibrant color and fragrance.
Of course it can be used in miso soup and udon noodles, but we also recommend soaking it in running water and using it in salads, mixed dishes, and as a tempura batter to make deep-fried seaweed!
